Struggling big time! with deadline in 10 hrs!

I am trying to implement the vsp form in the ecart 5 but looking thru the forum there is very little info and the tutorial deals with the server option only, there are no instructions I can see for the form option.

Need info on how to store the VendorTxCode does the extension set this up or do I?

On the success page, go to the bindings panel.

Click the plus button and select eCart -> Checkout Form Response. From the list of payment gateways, select Sage Pay VSP Form. This will add dynamic databindings to the page that can be used to return information about the transaction including the VendorTxCode.

I found that at 4am (uk time) this morning why is there no info on how to set these up in simple to find layout searching the help section for vsp form comes up blank. I have purchased a lot of extensions from webassist over the years but one thing is always lacking, good instuctions with details of all the features and how to find and use them.

In this case there are lots of info on the vsp server set up but in my case the client is on a shared server so the form method is best, please please can someone update the info for this extension and save me some sleepless night and few more gray hairs apart from the ones I end up pulling out!

New issue related to this, in the final page on the sitye before the transaction is sent to sagpay I save the cart contents to the order database but instaed of the order status being set to New order I set it to payment pending, I also used the binding tab and linked it using <?php echo ((isset($Protx_VSPForm_Bindings["VendorTxCode"]))?$Protx_VSPForm_Bindings["VendorTxCode"]:""); ?> but when is saves the cart contents that field is blank?

I gather that the extension makes a unique ref based on a timestamp, what am I missing out?

make sure that the line to attach the WA_eCart/checkoutScripts/Protx_VSPForm.php file is before the code to store details in the database.

<?php
require_once("WA_eCart/checkoutScripts/Protx_VSPForm.php");
?>
