Problem with CSS writer display

Hi,

I have added a navigation bar into my page but I have a slide show below it that is covering the drop downs. I have tried to raise the z-index but it doesn't really do anything.

I went to the ul#cssmw li {
background-image: none;
float: left;
padding: 0 0 0 0;
position: relative;
white-space: nowrap;
z-index: 100;
}

and changed the position to absolute and the drop down showed but the only tab left was contact .. all other 5 tabs disappeared.

Could you give me a clue what I might change to have the dropdowns appear in front of the slideshow.

Thank you for your help,
Caryn

the problem is caused by the overflow: hidden property on the header-one class in the style-sheet.css file:

.header-one {
margin:auto;
width:924px;
overflow:hidden;
clear:both;
text-align: left;
background-image: url(../images/red_bg.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat;
height:110px;
}

change that to:
.header-one {
margin:auto;
width:924px;
/*overflow:hidden;*/
clear:both;
text-align: left;
background-image: url(../images/red_bg.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat;
height:110px;
}

Thank you ... it does work when I remove the overflow. I just have to figure out how to remove the overflow and not break the page.

Thank you .. I would have never found it.
