UE 4.01 Pulls old emails

UE 4.01 Pulls old emails

I upgraded from UE 3 to UE 4.01.
When I use Dreamweaver 8 to edit the email everything appears correct.
My file name is "email_thankyou.php." When I open UE's DW edit button it creates a file named "email_thankyou_WAUE_HTML_Universal_Email_2.php."

I have put these files to the server.
However, when the page executes, it emails the older email form instead of the new one.

Do I need to remove any of the older UE3 code from the server?
Is there a debug feature for this?

Thanks.

It sounds like it is adding another instance of the Universal Email behavior to the page instead of editing the existing one.

try removing the existing one, then inserting a new instance using version 4.

NOTE: Universal Email 4 is not compatible with Dreamweaver 8. It is only compatible with Dreamweaver CS3 and above.

Solved

Thanks, Jason.

That's exactly what was happening. I had to paste the body of my work in a separate text editor, remove all the old UE files and folders and then let UE 4.01 create things from scratch. I pasted in the body work back in and then it worked.
