Strange Issue with iRite

Strange Issue with iRite

I have iRite set up on a CF page that simply takes the form data and stuffs it into a Session variable, that is used later to compose the body of an cfmail message. It works fine when you keep messages short and simple, but seems to have issues when we paste in some text or just have a longer message.

In IE, I get a page cannot be displayed error and when I view the properties of the page i see the page name is:

res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm#mypage.cfm...

Seriously, can anyone tell me wtf might be going on? Is this an irite issue, a coldfusion thing or a browser thing...

Problem is that I just dont even know where to start looking for answers and this is getting so very frustrating.

A quick Google search for "res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm", brings me to this page as the second result::

Seams this is a somewhat common issue with IE 7 that is either caused by a security patch, or installation problems.

There are a number of suggested fixes in that thread, hopefully one of them will help you out.
