credit card formation

Does anything work right in this solution? Everything I turn around something does not work right.

When entering a credit card number in the Payment Information fields it keeps coming back as "invalid format" I have tried entering the number about every way I can think of:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx

all of these combinations fail. Why and how do I fix it? I'm finding this solution to be anything but pre-built.

I have never had an issue with this and I have installed the powerstore many times. Can you post a link to the site?

Go to ecart/ then add something line the PULSE 200 to the cart and check out. Try to add a CC number you will see it always comes back with invalid format.

I went through the checkout process and used the test Visa number provided by paypal and I did not get an invalid format error.

I used Visa # 4111111111111111 . It is 4 with 15 1's behind it.

I used exp. month 02 and exp year. 2011 and cvv 001

If i put only 2 digits for the year I get an invalid format.

It seems to be working fine. To answer your initial question about the format, it needs to be the entire card number with no dashes, spaces etc. You can try copying and pasting the number above as a test. Make sure you choose Visa as the card type.

I hope that helps.
