Unknown Column error on Confirm page submit

Thread began 9/09/2010 9:13 am by andy245039 | Last modified 9/09/2010 11:05 am by Jason Byrnes | 404 views | 1 replies |

Unknown Column error on Confirm page submit

on the confirm.php page when submitting to I get the following error

Unknown column '5efea60cebe52c4698a0054e652775d6' in 'where clause'

I know that the string is the session_id but I don't get why it is not submitting.

The only thing that I have changed in the database is on the products I added an additional column to specifiy whether the product is a local sell only so that I could have the client validate by zip code before seeing pricing. This column is just a 1 or 0.

Any thoughts

You are trying to sore the session id in a numeric column.

most likely, it is storing the session id in the orderReferanceID column of the orders table.

Double check this in the store order summary behavior.

In the store order summary behavior, set the data type for the column storing the session id to text.

you will also need to change that column in the database to a varchar column.
