IE7 problem

The drop down menus at the top don't work. They show the menu but when you try to select it it disappears, all the menus.

They worked before, but no longer - after I made several changes to the menu on this site:
index.html

The issue is caused by using auto for the width.

IE will not work correctly when the menu items width is set to auto. It needs to use a fixed pixel measurement for the the menu width for IE compatibility.

Thanks - I did read this solution in other posts, but the menu does look fine on all other IE versions. Just not in 7.

IE 8 is a more standards compliant browser, it can handle the use of auto widths.

IE7 and below however cannot.

The menu does not look ok in IE6, the only version of IE that the menu looks ok in is IE8.

for compatibility with IE7 and below, you need to use fixed pixel based width measurements.
