Security Assist Wizard Functionality?

Hello there,

I'm having a lot of issues with the Security assist emailing functionality.

Now if I'm understanding this correctly - using the wizard should create the registration page, log-in page, update registration page, email password page and the video profile page. And the functionality is this - the user registers and then after they click send an email should be generated that includes a verification link that will verify their account with the server?

My problem is that this verification email is never generated for me. How can I get this to happen? My server is receiving the registration and the log-in does work.

Also when I hit Register - the page does not change to the page I specified.

Thanks!

no, security assist does not include verification email functionality. This would need to be created manually.

The emailing functions of security assist are for emailing a lost password.

if the redirect after registration is not working, there is most likely a php error occurring on the page.

add the following code at line 1 to turn error reporting on:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

Oh - well then how does one create the verification email?? Isn't that required for the registration database?

Thanks!

no, the verification email is not required for the security assist registration process.

seer thew following thread for details on the steps to add this:
