Put a style on an image

Thread began 8/26/2010 1:56 pm by CJ | Last modified 10/05/2010 3:45 pm by neilo | 866 views | 2 replies |

Put a style on an image

I created css styles and they all are visible and work well in the editor.
Now I want to use a style, for example "floatleft", to an image.
But when I have selected my image, the style are greyed out, so I can't use them for an image.
Is there a more simple way to achieve this than write the code by hand in the "code-modus"?

No, HTML editor styles are not applied inline to the selected tag which is what you would need to do with the image, html editor styles are applied as span tags with a class.

Not ideal, but if you or your client knows the name of the class you want to apply, you would just need to enter it in to the 'stylesheet classes' field in the image properties advanced tab:
