Cannot comply with service provider's additional requirements

Cannot comply with service provider's additional requirements

Hi

I'm trying to use UE 4 and at the same time comply with the requirements set down with my service provider (Fasthosts)

Has anyone managed to get an email running through Fasthosts?

Here is where I think the problem is:

Fasthosts say:

A fifth parameter, -f, should be added to the sendmail function. This will set the name of the from email address.

In its basic form, a simple sendmail script will look like this:

<?php
ini_set("sendmail_from", "user@yourdomain.com");
mail($email_to, $email_subject, $email_message, $headers, "-fuser@yourdomain.com");
?>

Provided that your form to mail script meets the requirements above, you should have no problems.

I have searched throughout the script created by UE4 and cannot find a suitable place to make this entry.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Steve

are you using Universal Email 4?

If so, double click the Universal Email server behavior, then click on the envelope icon.

On this page, select the option to include the from address as an additional parameter.
