Purchases / Quotes

I have PowerStore 3 and eCart 4.

I need to be able for a customer to use the shopping cart to purchase items and to also get a custom quote with the option to then purchase the custom quote item.

Is this possible? Do I need to shopping cart types?

Correction

I have PowerStore 3 and eCart 5.

I need to have 2 cart types. One to purchase items and 1 for quotes.

Flat Rate

My client wants to be able to adjust the Flat Rate for a shipping rule that I added (UPS rate + $5).

Is it possible and easy for the client to be able to change the $5 flat rate him self?

you should create 2 separate instances of PowerStore, one for the purchase and the other for the quote.

No the flat rate shipping amount cannot be easily edited by the customer.
