unable to view the thumbnail photos and what's being saved when clicking on save btn?

1. when i upload the photos to the server am unable to see the thumbnails ??I want to know why *.jpg files are not able to be seen as thumbnails??? I am unable to open the file or crop/modify etc.. why?? what am i doing wrong??

2. secondly: when I click on the save button of the html editor what am i saving? and where am I saving it?? it doesnt ask anything!!!

3. THIRD and LAST QUESTION: IS THERE A WAY OF USING THE ADVANCED FILE MANIPULATION CHARACTERISTICS OF HTML EDITOR WITHOUT THE "editor" PART??? THAT IS, IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE JUST THE FILE MANIPULATION?? WITHOUT THE REST?? WITHOUT THE TEXT EDITING PART ??

THANKS

In regards to question one, are you able to confirm that the image you uploaded is being saved on the server, at all, in the correct folder?

It almost sounds like your folder has the incorrect permissions on it. I would double check to make sure the folder is set to something like 777 or 755 if your host allows that with uploads.

Best regards,

Brian

Like Brian has suggested you should first check to see if the images are being uploaded to the server. You should also check the permissions to ensure that they are set correctly. If you continue to experience problems with this let us know so that we can help you look into it further.

For the third question about the file manager HTMLEditor makes use of Kae's File Manager. In the implementation that we have it is only available within the HTMLEditor. Here is a link to the page for more information about this file manager.
