adding new (similar) rules

sometimes it is necessary, when creating several discounts or calculation rules, to create several rules which are similar.

is there a way of copying an existing rule for editing, rather than creating a similar rule from scratch each time.

If not, do you think it would it be of practicable value for a future release ?

At this time, there is no way to duplicate an existing rule, I will add feature request to have this considered a for a future version.
