Redirect override, Not redirecting back to site

Thread began 8/01/2010 4:43 pm by mustang_sally_85344510 | Last modified 8/02/2010 2:35 pm by Eric Mittman | 577 views | 1 replies |

Redirect override, Not redirecting back to site

I have a ecart that allows different sellers.
Each having their own paypal (business) email. (sharing one cart).
Each sellers checkout is divided i.e. seperate. (not all thrown in together)

After live testing, I found that it doesn't direct back to the main site for cancel or complete transaction.

After making payment or not, one just ends up sittting there at paypal....:(

Question there an override to put so that paypal isn't expecting a redirect based from the individual sellers email...(at least I "think" is what is happening now).
I NEED them to come back to the main site that the cart was in...

Also, do I have to have a IPN for the cart? Would this IPN need an override also?

Is this a Payments Standard Setup? If so on the confirm page in the form that sends the users off to PayPal there are two elements that handle the page the users are returned to:

<input type="hidden" name="cancel_return" id="cancel_return" value="" />
<input type="hidden" name="return" id="return" value="" />

You would need to make sure that you have the values specified here for the pages you would like the user returned to. You can also make use of the auto return feature and make sure each seller has the unique auto return URL to get to.
