iPhone iOS4 support 4 HTML Editor?

iPhone iOS4 support 4 HTML Editor?

HTML editor doesn't register as an editable text area field on web forms on the iPhone OS4 system. Tap or double-tap the HTML Editor text area field on a form and nothing happens, won't call the keypad, nor will it allow a "paste" if I type the text into a note and then cut and paste. (Dropdowns, text and text area fields without HTML Editor work okay.)

this is a limitation of the safari version for the iPhone.

It does not have all the bells and whistles as the version of safari for the desktop. an will not recognize the fckeditor fields created by HTML editor as being form elements.

iPad editing

I find this means I cannot update my website with my iPad. Is there anything else I can do? A workaround, another browser? Can the program be fixed so that it will work with iPad Safari?
Any ideas welcome.

No, the CKEditor does not work on the iPad version of safari.
