Using old and new versions of extension - possible?

Hi,

Is it possible to install and use both older and newer versions of the same extensions in Dreamweaver? For example, eCart 4 (for my ASP clients) and eCart 5 (for my PHP clients)?

Ian,

From what I understand, it is not possible to run different instances of the same extension within the same Dreamweaver installation. But, it is possible to run Dreamweaver CS4 with one version and then CS5 with the other version if you have both versions.

Best regards,

Brian

another option if you only have one version of Dreamweaver is to create a new computer user account.

You can install one version of the extension in one user account and the other version of the extensions in the second user account.

you will need to recreate your site definitions in the second user account, but you can simplify this by exporting the site settings in the main account and importing it into the second account.

Thanks for the reply Jason. I think I'm going to simply use the new php versions of the extensions from now on though. I can still support my ASP client sites through hand-coding.
