new login procedure

i notice that each time i want to browse the forums, i now need to log in.

this is fine, it will help keep the spammers at bay, but could you consider allowing password cookies ?

in the past, i checked out the forums just to view the posts, and only logged in if i could contribute or wanted to follow a thread.

the new login process makes casual browsing less likely, for me at least

Hi Craig, The reason we don't currently have some sort of auto login or remember me function is due to the 3rd party security scanner we go through - and their security recommendation to not have it. However, thank you for bringing it to my attention again. I will talk to the web folks and see what I can do.
