Paypal Payment Standard Issue

Paypal Payment Standard Issue

I am having problems with the Paypal Payments Standard functionality. To set up the cart wizard to Payments Standard, it creates the cart pages based on the user ID for Paypal which I am using the clients email address yet something is wrong.

When I try to process the order by Credit Card then the order goes through to Paypal to complete but when I go to buy now with Paypal I just get redirected to the pp_checkout_failure.php page, what am I missing.

I would be really grateful for some help here as I have spent hours trying to get this working.

Thanks in advance

Do you have a link where we can see this in action or the pages that have the buttons on them that we can examine? I would like to get a feel for what is going on before I begin to troubleshoot what the cause might be.
