DataAssist Getting Started Tutorial

I have followed the getting started tutorial and most of the pages work except:

Delete. When I click delete I get the following error:

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Could not delete from specified tables.
/BlueSkyMusic/Items_Detail.asp, line 59

Update. When I click update I get the follwing error:

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.
/BlueSkyMusic/Items_Update.asp, line 70

Most likely the database mdb file is set to be read only.

The database is the one I downloaded from your site is this not configured correctly already.

When I check the properties it says "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer" Do I click Unblock.

Often times, when you download a file the read only attribute will be set. if the file is set to read only, it cannot be updated and will give the error you are reporting.

To change the read only attribute, you will need to select unblock.
