Checkout Page Question

Thread began 7/14/2010 10:49 am by rdubill357341 | Last modified 7/15/2010 7:55 am by Jason Byrnes | 1216 views | 3 replies |

Checkout Page Question

When a customer enters all the required information on the checkout page and clicks on submit on the confirm page - if there is any error (invalid credit card, etc.) they can return to the checkout page to make corrections.

Unfortunately the page displays absent ALL entered data and they have to re-key everything.

How do I retain this info on the checkout page?

Many Thanks!

You would want to add some code to check if the posted value is set and if it is then use the post to populate the form. To do this, you would want to have something like this for each of the form fields:
value="<?php echo((isset($_POST["form_field"])?$_POST["form_field"]:"")); ?>"

The form_field is the name of the form field that you are adding the value to.

ASP VB Script syntax would look like:
value="<%=request.Form("form_field") %>"
