Won't submit

I updated the extension for CS5, made a form, added universal email and uploaded all files

I can now see captcha images BUT the submit button doesn't work.

form is at contact-form.php

works

It now submits but there is no hand to indicate it is a working button

If the input is of type image the browser is what handles the cursor turning into a hand. All of the image type inputs that I use seem to make it so the hand appears when hovering over it. I found this link to a page that talks about using some js to help indicate that it is a clickable button. The page is a little old but the info seems to be valid:
