Exclude records with a matching key phrase from database search results

Exclude records with a matching key phrase from database search results

In setting up a dataAssist search, is there any way to hand code that I want to exclude records that contain a specific key phrase? The options when using the wizard are equals, begins with, ends with, includes. If I set up the keyword search using include, it sets up the sql as:

LIKE '%VAR%'

Is there a way to have the sql code come out as NOT LIKE? I tried to use 'exclude' but that did not work.

Any suggestions?

No, DataAssist search does not support NOT LIKE searches. I will log a feature request to have this considered for a future upgrade.
