What to do now?

What to do now?

Okay...I used CSS Sculptor and CSS Menu Writer to design my presets. However, when I use Site Sculptor, I get a little lost.

I can't seem to use the presets I used to set up the site with Site Sculptor. The get started guides are a little confusing. Can someone give a quick guide on how to incorporate my presets to get the site started with the menu presets and design that I want.

thanks for any help.

I have more questions, but I will take it one step at a time.

Nathan,

You need to create a new Site Sculptor template that uses your CSS Sculptor and CSS Menu Writer presets as a new template.

Follow this tutorial for instructions on setting this up.

More confused than yesterday

I used CSS Sculptor and CSS Menu Writer to create the presets that I want. I saved the CSS Sculptor as a .dwt template. Then I go into Site Sculptor to create a site design with my .dwt and CSS Menu Writer preset. However, when the site sculptor creates the pages, it does use the CSS Menu Writer preset. It uses the menus of the site type that is close to what I want. The tutorials are not clear about this.

I even attempted to use the edit CSS Menu Writer function to place the menu I want on the index.php; however, it does not place the right menus on the other pages, nor will it allow me to put it on the other pages. It seems the index.php is the only page that will allow me to make changes.

What gives? I am trying to use all of the extensions to build a e-store website for a customer, but it seems that none of extensions seem to work together. I am following all the tutorials and GSG, and nothing is working.

Can I call someone to get me going in the right direction?

Can you go to the Preset manager and export the Site Sculptor Site Type that you generated and the menu you generated?

Then can you zip the two exported files and the template you used and attach it here so I can take a look at your files and try to reproduce your results?

Figured it out

Thanks, but I figured it out. However, I have more questions and they are being posted in appropriate areas.

Great to hear you were able to get it working.
