Page optimization doesn't work

Hi, in the CMS appears a link for page optimization were I can add a description and meta-keywords but when I try to add them it doesn't work, how do I fix this issue?

When you say it doesn't work, do you mean that the values don't get added to the meta tag or do they just not change? Do other changes that you made using the CMS get saved? Check in the database that you specified in the installation wizard to see if there are new rows being added to store the information being added. Are you getting any error messages when you're trying to change the values or what is the behavior? Are you working on a testing server or on a hosted server? My guess is that the database connection might not be working correctly and you may have to make sure the database server is turned on and working correctly.

It doesn't insert data

Hi Jimmy, in the database when I first create the site with sitesculpture rows for meta-title, description and meta-keywords were created but when I try to insert data within the CMS using the page optimization option, no data is inserted. The other functions of the CMS for updating the page content work ok

It looks like this happens on certain servers. What version of PHP do you have installed on your server? Can you create a PHP info page and send me the url?

To create a PHP info page you would want to put this at the top of a php page:
<?php phpinfo() ?>

I have the same issue on Page Optimization...

Everything seems to work fine except when I try to save info for page optimization the page just flashes and the the info I entered blanks out. I can insert manually through phpMyAdmin and the data shows up. Can you help?

What exactly are you entering for the meta data?

Are you adding an apostrophe (')?

Or possibly another special character that is causing the insertion to fail?

I tested mine by just entering the word "test" without the quotes in the description field. I also tried just deleting the last letter from the page title on different pages and that didn't take either. I did not use any special characters. I can enter the exact same text directly from phpMyAdmin and that works...
