CSS Menu Writer crashing upon save of changes

CSS Menu Writer crashing upon save of changes

I currently have two problems with Menu Writer:

1) I get the following message each time it asks me to save changes after editing.

Error generating menu (wa.generate.menu):
TypeError: this.orientations[orientation] has no properties

This happens on the Save Content Preset menu after changes have been made.

2) Clicking Edit Theme flashes Edit Theme window but it doesn't stay up to do anything.

CSS MW 2.0.3
DW CS5 Mac

Addendum: None of these two issues occur with CS4. I just tried it. So must be a bug in CS5. Just FYI to development team.

CSS MW 2.0.3 is not compatible with DW CS5.

Please uninstall Menu Writer From the CS5 extension manager, then download the new updated version 2.0.5 that was released to address CS5 compatibility.

Thanks. Works much better. I want to clear out all my menu code and start cleanly. What is the best procedure to follow to do this?

in the head of the page, find the code that attaches the menu support js and css file's. it will look simoilar to:

php:
<script type="text/javascript"  src="CSSMenuWriter/cssmw0/menu.js"></script>

<style type="text/css" media="all">
<!--
@import url("plugins/CSSMenuWriter/cssmw0/menu.css");
-->
</style>
<!--[if lte IE 6]>
<style type="text/css" media="all">
@import url("plugins/CSSMenuWriter/cssmw0/menu_ie.css");
</style>

<![endif]-->

in the body of the page, look for the menu code:

php:
<ul class="level-0" id="cssmw0">

<li class="parent"><a href="#">Item 1</a>
<ul class="level-1">
<li><a href="#">Sub Item 1</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Sub Item 2</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Sub Item 3</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><a href="#">Item 2</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item 3</a></li>
</ul>

<script type="text/javascript">if(window.attachEvent) { window.attachEvent("onload", function() { cssmw0.intializeMenu('cssmw0',{select_current: 0, orientation: 1}); }); } else if(window.addEventListener) { window.addEventListener("load", function() { cssmw0.intializeMenu('cssmw0',{select_current: 0, orientation: 1}); }, true); }</script>
