Form not validating

Form not validating

Hi everyone! For some reason my form isn't validating. I compared it to a form that I got to validate awhile back and all looks the same, but i'm not getting that popup to stop someone from submitting the form so they can fix their blank fields. Here's the link:

participate.php

I need every field to be required which is what I thought I did but the form just goes through without anything in any of the fields.

The form may not be being referenced correctly using the forms array. Try changing forms[0] to form1 and see if that validates correctly. If that doesn't work, could you attach the page containing your form and the thank you page as well?

I'm messing around trying to start again from scratch but am getting nothing. Were you able to figure it out?

Could you zip up the files and attach it that way? It looks like there are extra characters added to the file when it is converted.

now i realize i'm not even getting the results. i was getting results when i was testing the form on my site before transferring it to the client's hosting. they have php enabled: phpinfo.php

i don't know what's the issue... and the validation wasn't working on their hosting or mine either. so i still haven't figured that one out

alright i got it to work! first name and last name fields had spaces. i eliminated the spaces "firstname" "lastname" and now it works... i'm still trying to figure out why the form results aren't being sent, but i'm guessing i have to do another thread for that answer in the other forum. thanks!

Great to hear you got it working. Yes, since it is a different issue, it would be better to create a new thread on it.
