Background Images not Showing in Email

Background Images not Showing in Email

I am using the Universal Email to send email to a new member. I am using Dreamweaver CS3 on a Mac, and am using Dreamweaver to edit the email template.

The email is working, but the background image is not being sent, nor is it previewing in the WA Email dialogue box, but it looks well if I open the Dreamweaver template on the web.

How do you get background images to work in WA Email?

Thanks Dexter

I don't think Background images in emails are a good idea.

I'm a MAC user and Entourage is particularly bad at background images but I also seem to recall that Outlook 2007 doesn't even support them as the rendering is based on MS Word and not pure HTML.

As stated above not a great idea, have a look at this link which explains a lot more : showthread.php?t=13486
