Slideshow-wide has pop-up thumbnails on left

As the page loads, a vertical strip of thumbnails pops up on the left and then disappears. Is there any way to prevent this? I replaced all of the galleries/slideshow_wide files but that didn't make any difference.

I didn't notice the issue when I loaded the page. However, you should be able to just edit the css (or add some custom css to your own file) to hide the thumbnail div.

.pg-sw .pg-sw-thumbnails {
display: none;
}

Hmmm

Well, of course it doesn't happen now. Thanks for the css code, I added it anyway to dark.css I hope that was the correct css to change.
