eCart Error generated when making any changes

eCart Error generated when making any changes

I'm attempting to add in a simple <= $x then Shipping = $0 shipping rule and anything I modify or try to add produces:

While executing onClick in WA ecart Object.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.

This is even after doing the recommended deleting cache, then disabling extensions, and reinstalling them (and ensuring installing ecart 4 and not 5-I have both). Then I tried applying the PS3_Update.zip provided, attempted to make another change and still no success.

What is the OS and version of DW that you are using? What is the specific release of eCart that you are making these edits with? Also, when you are making this change how you are doing so, are you adding to to an existing rule or adding custom code into a page? Please post back with the steps you are taking.

Windows7 DW CS4 - eCart 4.5.2. Opening up say the cart.php page or any other page in the PWS that has the cart object. Double-clicking on the eCart Object (WA_Store_Cart) in Server Behaviors. Going to shipping and adding in a 4th shipping item. No error during any changes, or just adding in "Free Shipping" to the list until the changes are being saved with the OK button.

It seems like you are doing this correctly if you have updated the files in PowerStore with the new files here:

showthread.php?t=12820

I would suggest that you follow these steps for recreating the configuration folder so that you can have a fresh extension manager and re-install the extensions. This should stop the error from occurring.

Please post back after trying these things and let us know if the issue persists.

eCart is working again now, but now the shipping (Shipping is enabled in Admin) or tax (8.25 for TX is entered in Admin) is not coming up on cart.php. I think it was before, but hard to tell it reloading is related.

Have you checked the eCart object to see if there are still listed there. With the updated files the charges should be retained after editing the cart object. The default PowerStore will not show this info on the cart page until the charges are triggered. You should see these charges on the carp display page after they have been triggered like on the confirm page.
