Updating my menu - Reentrance

When I go in to an existing menu done in a Template, then change a link or font colour, it changes it and keeps it for next time I get in but it wont update the file it was applied to.
When i press apply in menywriter, the changes takes effect but wont apply to the current PHP page or any pages with template applied.
Need help.

Does the menu get changed in the template at all? Templated pages don't automatically get all the changes that are applied to the template that they are based on. You will still have to apply the changes to the pages after the template is changed.

Menu update

Hi Jimmy.
The template does not get updated. When I am in the wizard and change for example font colour to test it, then press apply, it will change the preview but when finishing the wizard, the menu on the template page has not changed. If I go back into wizard, the new setting is still there so it has saved it.
I know I have to update all pages that are based on the template but as the template does not change, it will not do them either.
In the wizard it wont allow me to overwrite the preset, it is greyed out. Appreciate your help.

Is the menu in an editable region or is applied to a part of the template that is not an editable region?

As a test, can you create a blank page and add a menu to it and then try editing the menu to see if the menu is edited?

Can you zip up and attach the template and your CSSMenuWriter directory so I can give the editing a test as well?

Menu template

Menu is applied on template and is not an editable region.

I have created a blank page, created the menu and have then edited it and it worked fine.

Have attached a zip file as requested. Good luck

try changing this line to use require_once instead of virtual:
<?php virtual("////////////////////////////CSSMenuWriter/cssmw7/menu.php"); ?>

Also, I'm not sure why there are so many slashes in the path. You shouldn't need all of them. You can change it to this:
<?php require_once("CSSMenuWriter/cssmw7/menu.php"); ?>

You would also want to change in your site definition, the Links relative to option so that its document instead of site root.
