The CS5 compatible version of this extension has not been released yet, so the current version you are working with is not compatible. The new update for CS5 compatibility will be released soon.

I wondered if that was the problem. Thank you for confirming it, I will use Dreamweaver's less comprehensive validation until the CS5 compatible version of CSS Form Builder is released.

So, is it neccessary to use CSS for Form Builder? As I know Form Builder is one of functions of PHP FORM. I hear about CSS Form Builder at first.

My problem with PHP Form is that it doesn't compare when you talk about the styling you can do with CSS Form Builder. I have used both... I'm not sure that the type of user who would use CSS Form Builder wants anything to do with gray background table based forms when you can style the forms in CSS Form Builder to look like your site, save any of your styles as templates, and be ultimately more efficient as a designer.

One is also a Dreamweaver extension and the other one is not. I like the fact that when I create my form with CFB, I have the option to, right away, add in other WebAssist functionality whether it be DataAssist or Universal Email -- or -- any other extension in my arsenal for that matter.

Cheers,

Brian

The current release version of 1.0.2 is CS5 compatible. It seems like there might be some remnant of the old version still present. Here are two things that you should try to get past this error.

First, delete the cache file, here are the steps for this:
common_installation_issues.pdf

If this does not work for you then you should try resetting the work space by going to window > workspace layout > reset 'designer or coder'

If after performing both of these you still get the error then you may need to rename your configuration folder with these steps:

showpost.php?p=12293&postcount=2

Please let us know how this turns out for you.
