stock list

Hi

sure it's easy using one of the extensions but a client would like to be able to print out a stock list,

He simply wants the products file. Is there an easy way to do it?

thanks

Ian

There aren't any options to create a dump of the items data, adding in a feature like this would be custom and it would require some experience with sql and the db structure to get all of the information for the items in a single place.

Is this what you are referring to or were you looking for something else?

update

Hi Eric

I solve the issue with a workaround clumsy but it works.

I used the data assist module to create search and results pages of the products table.

Then deleted all visisble code except the button on the search page. changed the button to say "show stock list"

Now if the button is pressed the complete stick shows on the results page and can be printed using the normal mprint button.

No doubt there is a better way but it works for me

thanks

Ian

That is a great approach, it sounds like it is working just fine for you. This is about as good of a way of doing this as any other.
