DataAssist content showing up under Template

Few questions about data assist:

I just got the dynamic suite few weeks ago. I am trying to build a e-store. To make the story short. I follow the blue sky music starting guide for data assist, but at the moment I am trying to implement the same steps to my own template all the information that data assist creates go to the back of my template. What do I need to do to fix it?
Also, I read on the data assist forum that in order to sell stuff I need to change from administrative to public view. Is it that true? and if it is that true. Where can I find a guide to do it?

Thank you and have a good day.

If you follow the directions from the tutorial, it will have you set up a backend view (which is called Administration). The setting to change it to "public" view is on the results step of the wizard. There is a drop down which by default is set to "Administration". Change it to "Public".

Thanck you....

I saw the option on the wizard and I picked, but I still have the problem of all the information created by data assist showing up behind my template.

Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Would you be able to attach your template so I can take a look at it? Also, are your pages set up on a hosted server? If they are, can you send me a link to them?

I'm not sure, but it may have to do with the z-index settings on your template being higher than the z-index settings of the content created by DataAssist.

I am building the website on XAMPP htdocs folder now. I took the webassist advise to make sure that everything work as I want it.
Also, I will send the zip file later on today.

Thank you for your help

Good Template...

Jimmy,
I am being thinking about this too much and I think i missed the css file. Here is the new a good template. Hope you can tell me why Dataassist is showing up under my template.
Once again thank you and have a good weekend.

Jimmy I changed the index from my template and looks like the data assist is showing up above my template now, but now I have kind of the same problem i had before. All the information that Data Assist creates do not show up in the place I want it.
Always shows at the top left of my monitor. I did select the place I want to data assist appears, but I still having the same problem.

Any more ideas about what it could be wrong.

Thank you

I find the problem

Jimmy,

First of all thank you for the Index advise and also I was looking the difference between DA template and mine and I found that the template <!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="name" --> and the <!-- TemplateEndEditable --> needs to be inside your div tag not outside.
So for those who has the same problem as I did.
Remember to put your <!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="name" -->and your<!-- TemplateEndEditable --> inside your div tag.

Hope this help to someone else and Jimmy once again THX, for sure I will ask more question in the future, but for now.
You rock!
