How do I insert keywords and a different title in powerstore 2?

I am using Powerstore 2 and have been trying to insert keywords (using Dreamweaver CS4 "Insert HTML/Head Tag/keywords") in several different pages (different keywords for each page), and when I upload the page and view source code, the keywords and altered title don't exist. Is this an issue with page templates, or will HTML not work since these are PHP pages?

I think you are experiencing this as a result of the pages being template based and having most of the head area locked for editing. I found that if I go into split view and put my cursor in the editable region of the head titled 'doctitle' I can add in these keywords. Just make sure to put your cursor after the ending </title> tag. As for the page title this is partly dynamic and set with php code, but you can customize if you would like since it is in the editable region.

update

Hi

this is an issue raised on many forums and it is a bit confusing.

There are two areas.

1. Any editable area is unique to that page and that page only so in a template no editable area will be updated that has to be done at page level.

2, Any "locked" area will be updated if you alter the template so you chage that and you get site wide updates.

Comes down to planning your editable and locked areas carefully - for my part I always get it wrong;-)
