Best PayPal Options for PowerStore 3 in the UK

Hi,
I am just putting the finishing touches to a PowerStore 3 site for a small antique dealer.

We/He is based in the UK.
My question is which type of PayPal account would best suit this site. Under 10 transactions a month, but mostly expensive transactions of around £200 to £500 each.

I have heard UK PayPal is different to US payPal?
Can we open a US PayPal account if were in the UK?
If not, which UK account would integrate with PowerStore 3 best, and will I have to make changes to code manually.

Just a few pointers needed please.

To the best of my knowledge, UK and US paypal acts the same now. I would recommend just using express checkout if there are so few transactions. There should be options that will allow the user to just enter credit card information in Express Checkout as well, so even if the users don't have a paypal account they can still process the payment.
