Captcha Does not Display / Design View not accurate.

Captcha Does not Display / Design View not accurate.

I recently bought CSS Form Builder in order to generate Contact Forms. To say the least, I am very disappointed.

First, the Design View display in Dreamweaver CS4 is not anything close to the actual output. Fields overlap, they are in the wrong position. It is impossible to tell what the form will look like.

Second, I can't access the help file, since Flash Player keeps saying the site isn't secure, no matter what I do to change the Flash Payer security settings. Whoever thinks Flash Player is the way to display information apparently doesn't want to share that information.

So I now have a basis form that I used to get started, have no way to modify it and see what I am doing, and even the basic form doesn't work right as:
1. I can't set the E-mail address where the form should go (can't access instructions or help)
2. The CAPCHA code doesn't display so there is no way to know what to enter anyway.

I did read correctly that no knowledge of coding is required to use CSS form builder, didn't I?

Mick

Get The Refund

My personal experience is its just a plain bad extension.
I got my hard earned money back and is certainly an option for you.
Do a search for Simfatic Forms, I found it a great bit of software.

Good luck

The CSS Form Builder Help can be accessed online as well at the following address:
index.htm

Do not rely solely on the Dreamweavers design view, it will not be a 100% accurate representation of how the browser will render the page. This is really a limitation to the Design View in Dreamweaver.

For the captcha code to display you must be accessing the form from a web server. This can either be a local testing server or a remote server. Also the PHP server must be configured to enable the GD library which is used to generate the captcha image.

We have tutorials for setting up a local testing server and enabling the GD library on the following page:
resources.php

To enable the contact form to send an email, you will need to use the Universal Email extension. Form Builder is used to Create the form, you need to use the other extensions in the library such as Universal Email or Data Assist to add functionality to the form.

So much for easy

So this isn't as user friendly as you advertise, and your solution isn't a solution unless I buy other products from you. Sort of like buying a car, but needing to spend some more on tires if I want to drive it off the lot. In this case, another $100 to make a product work that I spent $50 for. Tell me how that makes sense.

Please let me know who to contact regarding a refund.
