We have not released any updates for CS5 compatibility, we are currently working on updating each extension to provide CS5 compatibility and will be releasing updates as they are available.

CSS Sculptor Upgrade policy for CS5? (sale ends soon!)

Hi, I only have DW CS5, and I've noticed your sale ends very soon. If I want the sale price and I buy now, what is the upgrade policy?

Any idea how long I'll have to wait for CS5 compatibility? Your products look great, and I'm ready to get started!

Thanks,
Charlie

Charlie,

WebAssist states that compatibility updates to CS5 are free to people who purchased. Just see the home page or this link for more: cs5.php

Best regards,

Brian

Brian, thanks for your quick reply.

I am new to WebAssist products. Is it safe to say that as far as themes/layout templates are concerned, the DW version won't matter? And if so are there any other WebAssist products this might be true for?

Thanks again,
Charlie

Hi Charlie,

The themes and layouts should not be affected as (at least the ones I have looked through) they were created with web standards in mind.

As far as the extensions go, even though that have not yet been updates yet specifically for CS5, I can say that the majority of the extensions and features actually work now in CS5. I have only found a few minor issues with using the current extensions in CS5. So if you did get them now and installed them, I think you would get use out of them currently even before the updates are released.

Regards

I see the website has been updated to reflect CS5 compatibility. Pretty sure I was already signed up for WA updates but will check again. In any case thanks, I appreciate the heads up.
