Not saving Vistor info to database

When people place an order the visitor information that is supposed to be saved in the VISTOR table of the database is not being saved. Is there a way I can add this through the wizard or manually?

If you have a database connection configured before running the checkout wizard, you can configure the order management section to store the order summary and order details. This will create an order summary record that will store the Shipping and billing information into the Orders table, and a record in the order details table for each item in the cart.
