Image Upload DB Error

Greetings,

I've added the HTML editor to my page and it works great locally. When I upload everything (DB and Files) to the server it gives me this error:

Error
MDB2 Error: insufficient permissions
connect: [Error message: Could not select the database: var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock] [Native code: 1044] [Native message: Access denied for user 'utmgweb_cgc'@'localhost' to database 'var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock'] ** mysql(mysql)://utmgweb_cgc:xxx@localhost/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

I receive this error after I select Upload > Browse > Select File > Send it to the server:

Error creating folder "/Uploads/" (mkdir() [<a href='plugins/function.mkdir'>function.mkdir</a>]: Permission denied)

Any help?

The first error means that the database you have selected in the connection being used by the Advanced File Manager does not have sufficient privileges to create the database tables needed by the advanced file manager.

Your host should supply a way to manage your MySQL databases such as PHPMyAdmin. In PHPMyAdmin, select the database being used by HTML editor, and go to the Permissions tab to manage the allowed permissions for your user.

The second error is pretty much the same, the /Uploads doesn't exist and the allowed permissions are not allowing the script to create it. You can create it manually.

DB error fixed...now image not loading

Thanks for you response. Just so that others know, in my connections file I had the following:

localhost/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

When it should just be localhost for HostGator.

The window now appears when I select "insert/edit image" and I can select an image from the folder, however, when I choose the image it does not appear. Any suggestions?
