Activation Issue

I recently had to do a fresh install of DW CS4 along with Web Assist 2.3.5. My serial number was successfully verified but I am unable to activate via the online tool. I am on a network and have no control over our firewall or anti-virus software. I was able to activate and use WebAssist in the past but something change preventing current activation.

I have opened a backend ticket to get some additional information from you to generate a license file. To check your backend ticket, log in to your account at www.webassist.com and check your support history.

One thing you would want to check is that your MAC address (physical address) for your computer is not changing each time you restart. Our activations are based on the MAC address of the computer and if this is changing each time you will have to activate each time.

One thing that would cause the multiple MAC addresses could be connecting using both wireless and through a wired connection.

this is exactly my own problem too...i make use of vista (ultimate) each time i reboot...WA validation tool kit requires activation and i make use of my personal broadband i don't make use of wireless or other access to the internet...i always use one method to connect...so i don't know if my mac address do change or not at this moment...anytime i want to use WA validation tool kit i will activate it and try as much as possible not to reboot my system for as long as my system can take...i know this is just a temporary solution but am hoping to get a permanent solution some day...
