Browser Display Issues

Greetings,

I am having some real browser display issues with CSS Form Builder.

I have attached 2 screenshots, one taken in IE8 and the other take in Firefox 3.6.

As you can see the IE8 layout is all out of alignment, where the Firefox alignment is perfect. I have also confirmed that the alignment is great in Chrome, Safari and Opera. Only IE 8 is not working.

Any ideas what can be happening? How can I compensate for this in IE8 as I of course want it to look the same as the other browsers.

Thanks,

Martin

looks like the from width is greater than the div it is inside.

Please send a link to your page so I can see the problem in a browser to investigate the cause.

Hi Jason,

I have just been working with this form and can now send you a link to the finished form.

As you can see (if you view it in IE8) the text boxes are out of alignment with the text.

Whereas in Firefox and all other browsers, the display is perfect!

Thanks for any help you can provide me with!

I can only recreate the problem if I set IE8 to render using IE7 Quirks mode.

Quirks mode uses the IE5.5 rendering engine, I would not expect quirks mode to be able to properly display a css based form.

Make sure you set the rendering mode in IE8 to use the IE Standards compliant rendering engine.
