Descriptions rollover button for slideshow dissolve.

Hi I'm trying to customize the slideshow dissolve gallery so that I can have a button in the main navigation (or elsewhere) that when rolled over the titles/description will appear...

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

I saw that your post was here for a little while without a response. I'm not quite sure what you are hoping to achieve as an end result, any more detail or a screen shot of how you would like it to look with a description of what will happen would help.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I've attached a mockup example.

I'm comfortable with adapting the css of the gallery navigation to get just simple 'next', 'previous' and 'slideshow' symbols. Where I hit a brick wall is when it comes to the titles/descriptions. I want to get a symbol button that when clicked ON, the photo description will appear and when clicked OFF they will disappear. (See images)

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. All the best,

Making this change is a bit more extensive that updating the css involved. You would essentially need to create or modify the existing js function to show or hide the caption. Once the function call was built you would then attach it to the onClick for your button that you are adding.

If you are comfortable with js scripting and can easily read the gallery js file then you would probably be able to accomplish this, otherwise this may be a difficult task. We cannot offer support for customizing the js code in the gallery, it was only designed to work in it's current state.
