Secuirty Assist Error

The error reads: "The file that you have chosen is not based upon your selected templete. It is not template based." Please choose another file, or chose a different template." I'm setting up a login for a form table in my database. I do not need the registration, user updates, or email password pages that the wizard supplies. I just want it to go to a specific page that has already be made from the site assist template. Please advise

How are you setting up the details in the first page of the Security Assist wizard? I did a quick test of this scenario and I had no trouble doing what you are describing. In the Security Assist wizard I selected the SiteAssist template that all of my SiteAssist pages are derived from. I then selected the editable region, next I unchecked all of the pages except for the login. I used the folder icon to select the SiteAssist generated page and proceeded through the wizard.

In the end the wizard added the login form to my selected page.

Security Assist

Okay I setup a admin login for the website previously, however I need to have a way for users to download forms and I started the secuirty assist wizard and got to step 3 where I tried to get the redirect page to be the actual page to download the forms and it gave me that error. It is now working but I had the following 2 errors when trying to finish it up.

Ok, sounds like it should be working ok now if you were not getting these two errors. Please try deleting the cache file for DW to see if this stops the errors from occurring. Here is a link to the steps that you can take to do this:

common_installation_issues.pdf

If this does not work then there might be an issue with your configuration folder. If this is the case you will need to rename this folder to have it be recreated by DW. Here is a link to the steps you can take for this:
