inline editing not working

I recently moved the files over to a new domain (.org instead of .org.uk) and everything is working (after copying the connections folder as well) in normal admin/edit mode
but in inline editing the icons for edit are missing (red crosses) and clicking on them produces "no file specified" and the link is wrong.

what do I need to do to correct this? I have'nt moved the database just all the files to a new location on the same host.

Did you install the cms again or did you just copy it over? If you just copied it over, try installing the cms again in the new directory.
