database search mulitple instances on same page

have a simple question.
I have 1 database search set up that triggers on page load reading the querystring parameters. Then i want to have another database search applied to the page that is just for one form textfield so after the page loads the user can perform a new search NOT including the query string parameters and start over via the text box search.

How would i go about doing this?

use the same database search server behavior for each. dd the conditions to use the Query strings, and the conditions to use the form elements. If the query string does not exist, those conditions will be ignored, also, if the form elements do not exist, those conditions will be ignored.
