unique images and no type

Dear Friends,
Is it possible with the CSS Menu Writer to have the horizontal menu tabs and each drop-down menu tab all have different, unique images and no type.
Thanks,
George

To get unique images for each menu item, you would have to make modifications after creating the menu in Menu Writer. You will not be able to do this within the Menu Writer Wizard. Are you familiar with applying images using CSS? If not, you can just embed the image into the menu item itself as well.

I'm not sure what you mean by having no type, could you clarify that?

Thanks for your reply Jimmy,

I am using a goofy, non web compatable font in a gif and so do not need type.

Anyway, I am not sure what modifications to make for the separate images.

Thanks,
George

You wouldn't be able to do this in the CSS Menu Writer wizard directly, you would have to modify the menu after the fact to either directly embed the image in the menu or create different css classes for each menu item and code the image into the menu items in the css file.

Is this possible

Hi Jimmy,
Assuming that the top nav buttons {Gold uppercase type) are images and the drop-downs are type, is it possible to create a menu like this in CSS Menu Writer:

enter_guidelines.php

Thanks,
George

It seems like you'd have to add the images in after generating the menu, but the general layout should be able to be generated using Menu writer.

Menu writer

Hi Jimmy,
Does that mean you can have the top bar without type; just an image (with raterized type)?
Thanks,
George

I'm still not sure what you mean by type. Do you mean you don't need to have text in it? You can remove the text and put in an image if you want.
