Admin Login (Installation Wizard)

Hi! I run the installation wizard. everything works fine until step 3. there i specified the name and the password. but everytime i want to go to step 4 i get the error: "failed to save the settings in the database. please verify your database connection."

what is going wrong?

The error is telling you that it could not update the db with your settings that you specified. Check your db to see if you have a wa_settings table in it, check the table to see if you have any records for the admin username and password.

Are you running this on your live server? Have you ensured that you have entered all of the correct details for connecting with your server and that the db exists?

ok, i reinstalled the database, this time version MySQL 5 (not version 4) and it works.
