Changing Labels in the Email Body File

I am using the Appointment form from CSS Form Builder, and Universal Email to submit the form via email. Everything seems to be working properly, except for one thing....

When I run the Universal Email Wizard I select "Create a file for your email." This works as it should, but I want to change the labels on the file to return:

Title:
First Name
Last Name:
Email:
Phone:
Best Day:
Best Time:
Confirm By:

instead of:

Appointment_request_group_Title:
Appointment_request_group_First Name:
Appointment_request_group_Last Name:
Appointment_request_group_Email:
Appointment_request_group_Phone:
Appointment_request_group_Best Day:
Appointment_request_group_Best Time:
Appointment_request_group_Confirm By:

I have tried changing the name for each input item, but that seems to break the form validation process.

What am I doing wrong?

The best way to get around this is to create your own email template. The ones generated for you loop through and use the name/id of the form field to display.

To make your own template, you can either click on the edit with a pencil next to it. This will open up an interface so you can type your email template and you will have to click on the lightning bolt icon at the bottom right of the interface to insert the values from the form into the email template.

If you use the edit with the DW icon, you will have to open up the bindings tab and there should be the values from your form in there. You can drag and drop them to where you want them displayed.
