PowerCMS2 - Adding new user

PowerCMS2 - Adding new user

It looks like in code for PowerCMS2 that when a new user is added to PowerCMS2 that an email is sent to that new user and the email address is then verifed and a flag is set in the database. I have put in a new user, but I'm not getting the email sent. I have had this problem before and have had to use port 587 instead of port 25. Where would I make the edit to use port 587?

Thanks,
Ken

there is no email functionality in PowerCMS2.

No email will be sent when a new user is added. This will only occur in in the User Registration Solution Pack, or PowerStore.

For either of those solutions, look in the WA_UniversalEmail folder.

for each email that can be sent out, there will be a php file using the following naming convention:
WAUE_<page name>_<number>.php

open each one, and look for a line similar to:

php:
$WA_MailObject = WAUE_Definition("".($WAGLOBAL_Email_Server)  ."","25","","","","");

change the "25" to the correct port to use:

php:
$WA_MailObject = WAUE_Definition("".($WAGLOBAL_Email_Server)  ."","587","","","","");
