IE 8 chokes on Javascript

Hello all,

I have an extant page with a Google Map that works great in Safari and Firefox but does not display in IE 8. I turned on debugging and it is choking on this line in wagmp_maps.js:

/*wagmp_onload*/
if(window.wagmp_map_1) wagmp_map_1();

The error is "Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method"

Has anyone else seen this?

view_ranges.php

Thanks,
Bryan

Turns out I had commented out a few lines so the new "last line" ended with a comma. I corrected that and now it works fine.

php:
Message loop: 'Google_recordset',
      latitude: '',
      longitude: ''   <------- errant comma was here...
//    markerStyle: 'Push-Pin',
//     markerColor: 'Pacifica'
};

The markerstyle and color don't appear to do anything so I left them commented out.

I am still puzzled as to where this code is called from:

/*wagmp_onload*/
if(window.wagmp_map_1) wagmp_map_1();

as it is simply "thunked" into the page and is not a part of any method.

Glad to hear you found the cause of the problem.

that code is in the google_javascript/wagmp_maps.js file.

it is used to initialize the map.
